Owing to the characteristic formation planes of the Bernardos' geological planes, formed around 500 million years ago, the Quartz Phyllite can be split using traditional tools to obtain its riven finish. The result is a unique colour and rugosity that makes it ideal for floors and walls, either with ventilated or cladded systems:
